StudentLoansForCollege.org Easiest Scholarship Ever Rules


THERE IS NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN THIS CONTEST. The StudentLoansForCollege.org Easiest Scholarship Ever is in no way affiliated or sponsored by Facebook.com or Twitter.com, or any of its parent companies or affiliates. The StudentLoansForCollege.org Easiest Scholarship Ever begins on January 15th 2012 and ends on May 15th 2012. All applicants shall be subject to these Official Rules, and by entering, all participants agree to be bound by the terms and conditions below:

Eligibility:
The StudentLoansForCollege.org Easiest Scholarship Ever is open to all legal residents of the United States, currently enrolled in high school who plan to attend a U.S. Department of Education accredited institution of higher education OR currently enrolled in a U.S. Department of Education accredited institution of higher education. Employees, their families, sponsor affiliates, subsidiaries, parent companies, agencies, and participating retailers of StudentLoansForCollege.org (and those living in the household of same) are not eligible to enter or win. This contest is void in Puerto Rico, all U.S. territories and possessions, overseas military installations and where prohibited or restricted by law. The deadline for submission is May 15, 2012. Winners will be announced on June 15, 2012.

Prizes:
One first-place winner will be awarded a $250 scholarship, paid by check or money order. Award money is to be used as tuition reimbursement for the winners own college education, or other educational related expenses. Funds will be paid directly to the student unless the student is under the age of 18, for which, funds will be paid to the winner’s parent/legal guardian. The odds of winning this contest is determined by the total number of eligible entries received. Only one (1) prize will be awarded to any one person.

Winner Selection:
Winner(s) of the StudentLoansForCollege.org Easiest Scholarship Ever will be selected by StudentLoansForCollege.org based upon the creativity of their two-sentence answer, as determined by studentLoansForCollege.org. All decisions are final. Winner(s) will be contacted through Facebook and/or Twitter. Winners will be announced on StudentLoansForCollege.org’s Facebook and Twitter pages. Only those submitting comments through Twitter or Facebook will be eligible. The winners will be notified via Twitter and/or Facebook direct message. If StudentLoansForCollege.org does not receive a reply to the winner notification announcement within seven (7) days from the date sent, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected from among the remaining eligible entries. Unless prohibited by law, the winner will be required to complete and return an affidavit of eligibility and a publicity/liability release within two (2) weeks of responding to the notification. Acceptance of the prize constitutes permission (except where prohibited by law) to use the winners' names, cities, states, likenesses and/or voices for purposes of advertising, promotion and publicity without additional compensation. Prize award materials and information will be sent to the winners after all required proof and documentation is received.

StudentLoansForCollege.org is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, technical error or human error, which may occur in the processing of entries and submissions. StudentLoansForCollege.org accepts no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect or alteration of entries. StudentLoansForCollege.org shall not be liable to winner or any other person for failure to supply the prize or any part thereof, by reason of any acts of God, any action(s), regulation(s), order(s) or request(s) by any governmental or quasi-governmental entity (whether or not the action(s), regulation(s), order(s) or request(s) prove(s) to be invalid), equipment failure, terrorist acts, earthquake, war, fire, flood, explosion, unusually severe weather, hurricane, embargo, labor dispute or strike (whether legal or illegal), labor or material shortage, transportation interruption of any kind, work slow-down, civil disturbance, insurrection, riot, or any other cause beyond StudentLoansForCollege.org’s sole control. StudentLoansForCollege.org reserves the rights to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the scholarship, in whole or in part, at any time.

Terms and Conditions:
By entering, participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of StudentLoansForCollege.org, which shall be final. All applicable federal, provincial, state and local laws and regulations apply. By entering this contest, entrants agree that StudentLoansForCollege.org shall not be liable for personal damages, expenses or costs or losses of any kind resulting from participation or inability to participate in this contest or acceptance of or use or inability to use the prize or parts thereof including, without limitation, claims, suits, injuries, losses and damages related to personal injuries, death, damage to or destruction of property, rights of publicity or privacy, defamation or portrayal in a false light (whether intentional or unintentional), whether under a theory of contract, tort (including negligence), warranty or other theory. Winner releases StudentLoansForCollege.org from any and all liability and responsibility with respect to a prize (including any property loss, damage, personal injury or death). Winner acknowledges the aforementioned individuals and entities have neither made nor are in any manner responsible for any warranty, representation or guarantee, expressed or implied, in fact or in law, related to the prize. Except where prohibited by law, participation constitutes the winners consent to StudentLoansForCollege.org’s use of their names, cities and states of residence and entries for advertising, publicity, and promotional purposes in any media, online or offline, without further permission, consent, payment or other consideration, unless prohibited by law. If, for any reason, the promotion is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the promotion, StudentLoansForCollege.org reserves the right, at their sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion and to award the grand prize from among all eligible entries received prior to the date of termination. StudentLoansForCollege.org reserves the right to amend or modify the terms & conditions at any time during the promotion. ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE (INCLUDING THE ENTRY SITES) OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND/OR CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES AND OTHER REMEDIES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. Entries made by any other individual or any entity, acting on behalf of the applicant will be declared invalid and disqualified for this contest. The use of any device or software to automate the entry process is prohibited.
