College scholarships are all over the place, you just have to be willing to find them. For current high school students out there, here’s a mother-load of a scholarship for college… 20 G’s worth!
Zinch.com (the host for the scholarship) is a free scholarship matching service, and in order to get started on applying for this scholarship, you have to create a profile on their site.
Zinch states that in order to be eligible you must be a current high school student graduating in 2011, 2012, 2013, or 2014. You must have a minimum 2.0 GPA. International students ARE eligible for the scholarship. Your Zinch profile must be over 80% complete.
“If you are new to Zinch, this is our longest running and most prestigious scholarship award. Each year semi-finalists are selected for this scholarship based on their Zinch profile. The semi-finalists then compete, March Madnezz style, in a bracket of 64 students. Students go head-to-head, with the best Zinch profile advancing, until only one student remains claiming the $20,000 scholarship.”
