The Jerry Clark Memorial Scholarships are a $5,000 scholarship opportunity awarded annually to two students majoring in the social science fields. The Jerry Clark Memorial Scholarship applicants are required to be students in their sophomore year of study and must be enrolled as a full-time student in a four-year degree program at any accredited college or university.
The applicants parent, legal guardian, or financially responsible grandparent must be a AFSCME member. All applicants applying to the scholarship must have a Grade Point Average of 2.5 or above and the student must be a social science (political science, sociology, ethnic studies, communications, etc) major at an accredited college or university.
