The Christophers Annual Poster Contest

The Christophers is a nonprofit organization that was founded in 1945, whose mission it is to spread two basic ideas: there’s nobody like you, and you can make a difference. The Christophers sponsors an Annual Poster Contest for high school students that provides the winners with scholarship money for college. The Christophers Annual Poster Contest is open to all high school students in the United States, and applicants grade point average and/or financial need is not required or considered for this scholarship opportunity.

All applicants are asked to create an original poster (15 x 20 inches) that includes the statement “You can make a difference” and illustrates the idea that one person can change the world for the better. Students may use any medium to create their original poster. All applicants must include the following information on the back of their poster: name, address, e-mail, phone number, school, school address, teacher’s name and grade. All posters will be judged on overall effectiveness in conveying the theme, originality and artistic merit. First place prize is $1,000. Second place prize is $500. Third place prize is $250.
