The Barry Goldwater Scholarship and Excellence in Education Program is available to US citizens or permeant residents, who are pursuing a college degree in one of the following fields: science, mathematicians, and/or engineering. The Barry Goldwater Scholarship scholarship award will cover eligible expenses for undergraduate tuition, fees, books, and room and board, up to a maximum of $7,500 annually.
The Barry Goldwater Scholarships will be awarded to up to 300 qualified individuals across the United States. Students must be full time sophomores or juniors at an accredited institution, and must have a B average (or equivalent) to meet the scholarship eligibility requirements for The Barry Goldwater Scholarship. Students will also be required to submit transcripts and a short essay for scholarship consideration.
