The Apprentice Ecologist Initiative has engaged thousands of young people from around the world in environmental cleanup and conservation projects since 1999. The Apprentice Ecologist Initiative will be awarding 3 Apprentice Ecologist Scholarships for college. The Apprentice Ecologist Scholarships will be awarded annually to the authors of the top Apprentice Ecologist essays. By registering and submitting your essay, you will automatically be considered for a scholarship. Scholarships are available to any student ages 13 to 21, who is a candidate for a degree/diploma at a primary, secondary, or accredited post-secondary educational institution from any country around the world. The scholarship award may be used for tuition and fees related to educational needs.
The Apprentice Ecologist Scholarship Essays will be judged by a committee of Nicodemus Wilderness Project board and staff members. There is no minimum or maximum length for the essay, however past award winners have written essays that ranged between about 500 and 1,500 words.
