Student Loan Exit Counseling

Student loan Exit Counseling? You may have heard the term before, but what exactly is it, and how can it help prepare you to pay back your student loans? Student loan Exit Counseling is something that every student who is about to enter the repayment period for their student loans should take advantage of.

In Student loan Exit Counseling you’ll receive helpful information about student loan repayment, and your student loan provider will notify you of the date your student loan repayment begins. Often time much of this seems like common sense, but in actuality there is valuable information to be shared regarding your student loans, and it also sets the tone for the importance of paying your full student loan monthly payment and paying it on time.

While in school (for many students) student loans simply do not seem like something you’ll have to take “seriously”, simply because they are “out of sight and out of mind”… think again. Student loans are just the same as any other type of loans, and yield the same consequence if repayment is not made.

If your student loan provider has not offered to set up a Student loan Exit Counseling session with you, simply contact them to make an appointment.
