The Steve S. Kang Young Artists Scholarship (Steve S. Kang Young Artists and Scholars Fund, created in memory of Steve S. Kang) is an opportunity for creative students and young professionals in the arts, humanities, and sciences who have a passion for their chosen field but lack the funding to achieve their dreams to win some money for college. The Steve S. Kang Young Artists Scholarship will provide a $2000 college scholarship to the applicants who best meet the Scholarship Programs criteria.
The Steve S. Kang Young Artists Scholarship applicants can be any undergraduate or graduate students who expect to attend an accredited institution of higher education during the grant year or recent graduates who are doing research or pursuing other scholarly or artistic projects. Scholarship applicants must have good academic or artistic achievement and promise, demonstrate a financial need, and have a strong commitment to science and/or the arts.
