Sharps Compliance, Inc. is holding their annual college scholarship essay contest to help bring awareness to accidental needle-stick injuries outside of hospital and healthcare settings, and give students some money for their college educations in the process.
The Sharps Compliance Scholarship requires applicants to write a short essay of 1250 to 1500 words. The Sharps Compliance Scholarship awards are as follows: First Prize: $1,500 college scholarship award, Second Prize: $1,000 college scholarship award, and Third Prize: $750 college scholarship award. To be eligible for this scholarship, students must be US or Canadian Citizens, currently enrolled in health-care related studies at an accredited college or university.
