The Papercheck Essay Contest Scholarship offers students a chance to win a $500 scholarship for college. Provided by The Charles Shafae Scholarship Fund, The Papercheck Essay Contest awards two $500 college scholarships every year to the contest’s winners. Scholarship applicants are asked to submit a minimum 1,000 word essay answering three questions located on the Papercheck Essay Contest Scholarship website. The essay must follow the Modern Language Association (MLA) format, focus on grammar and the ability to present ideas clearly.
The Papercheck Essay Contest is open to college students of all majors, who are enrolled at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States. Applicants must be college undergraduates, taking at least 12 credits per semester, and must be a legal resident of the U.S. or hold a valid student visa. Papercheck Essay Contest Scholarship applicants must have a cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of at least 3.2 on a 4.0 scale.
