The LiveCitizen Scholarship Competition is open to eligible students who can provide a short video and essay on the topic of “who is your favorite US president?” The LiveCitizen Scholarship Competition is open to students who are legal residents of the United States, are sixteen years of age or older at the time of scholarship application, and who are currently enrolled in an accredited post-secondary institution of higher learning (college, university or trade school).
Eligible applicants for the LiveCitizen Scholarship Competition must submit a one to two minute video and a 200 to 300 word essay answering the question “Who was the best president ever, and why?” Once the video and essay are uploaded, the videos will be voted on. The top five most voted videos will then be sent to the LiveCitizen staff and they will choose the scholarship winner. The LiveCitizen Scholarship first place winner will receive a $2500 scholarship for college. The second and third runners up will receive an Amazon Kindle.
