International Student Loans: Private Loans

There seems to be a bit more confusion when it comes to International Student Loans verses regular private student loans, and though they are a little different International Student Loans are essentially just the same as any other private student loan.

We get the question here at studentloansforcollege.org, “What can International Student Loans be used for?” quite a bit. The answer is simple… International Student Loans, are like all private education student loans. International Student Loans can be used for education-related expenses (just as regular private student loans can) including such things as tuition, textbooks, college fees, some forms of insurance, your transportation needs, room and board and other college-related expenses.

Also like private student loans, International Student Loans will be based on the credit of the co-signer, and perhaps one of the hardest things for international students trying to secure a International Student Loan is finding a co-singer that is a US citizen (which most student loans will require).
