The Hy-Vee Foundation gives away yearly college scholarship awards to high school seniors and current college students. Hy-Vee scholarships include $1,000 college scholarships awarded to high school seniors and college students, for a total of $80,000 awarded in scholarships each year. The scholarship award is payable in a lump sum, and is to be applied to normal college expenses including tuition, room and board, book purchases and rentals. Fees refundable to the student as well as entrance or application fees are not covered.
The eligibility requirements for Hy-Vee Foundation Scholarships are as follows: applicants must be high school seniors or current college students who are currently pursuing, or will be pursuing any course of study leading to a four-year college degree at an accredited institution of higher learning. Hy-Vee Foundation Scholarship applicants must be residents of the United States to be eligible for the award.
