The Edison Scholarship Program provides a college scholarship opportunity for high school students who show the promise for a successful college career and who have a financial need. Recipients of The Edison Scholarship could receive up to $10,000, awarded in increments of $2,500 over four years or until a bachelor’s degree is earned, whichever occurs first.
Eligibly requirements for application to The Edison Scholarship Program are as follows: Scholarship applicants must be legal US residents, with a demonstrated financial need. Applicants must be high school seniors with a cumulative grade point average of 2.8 or higher on a 4.0 scale. Applicants must have taken the ACT or SAT, and plan to enroll (full time at an accredited four-year college or university in the U.S.) with a major in one of the following: Math, Physics, Chemistry, Engineering, Materials Science, or Computer Science/Information Systems.
