The Crisis Channel Scholarship, is a video scholarship opportunity being offered to all high school and college students between the ages of 14 and 22. The Crisis Channel provides open, immediate and actionable information nationally to aid citizens in crisis preparedness, response and recovery.
To enter the Crisis Channel Scholarship, applicants must create a video showing how you, your family, and/or your community prepares for an emergency (i.e. what type of escape plan do you have, do you have an emergency/disaster kit prepared, do you have a plan for your pets, etc…). All Crisis Channel Scholarship videos will be uploaded to the Crisis Channel website and facebook page. The grand prize winner, chosen by the most likes on facebook, will receive a $500 scholarship for college. Crisis Channel Scholarship videos may be no longer than three minutes in length.
