International Student Loans are student loans for college students looking to leave their country and attend school in another country. There are all different types of International Student Loans from countries all over the world. International Student Loans for International Students
The International Student Loans are loans for students who are not native of the USA or Canada, but wish to come to the USA or Canada to attend college. International Student Loans are granted on two (but not limited to) main qualifications – the international student must be attending a TERI (The Education Resource Institute) approved school, and must also have a US Citizen or permanent resident to cosign the loan with you.


International Student Loans for Canadian Citizens
Students from Canada (residents or citizens of Canada), who are looking to study abroad can apply for a common International Student Loan known as CanHELP. CanHELP International Student Loans can be obtained to finance the entire cost of your college education abroad. CanHELP International Student Loans are for both undergraduate and graduate college students. CanHELP is a privately funded, flexible repayment option student loan. Edibility for CanHELP International Student Loans require that the Canadian Student is attending a TERI (The Education Resource Institute) approved school, and that undergraduate students have a co-signer (Canadian graduate students may apply on their own with no co-signer).


International Student Loans for Study Abroad
International Student Loans for Study Abroad provides educational financing for US Citizens who are looking to study abroad in colleges, schools, or universities outside of the USA. Generally the only stipulations for these types of student loans are that the student currently be attending a TERI (The Education Resource Institute) approved school, and that the student is a US citizen. Often times these International Student Loans for Study Abroad disperse funds quickly, and many do not require the completion on a FAFSA application


International Student Loans for US Citizens Foreign Enrolled
International Student Loans for US Citizens Foreign Enrolled give educational funding to US Citizens who plan to enroll directly into a degree program abroad. These International Student Loans for US Citizens Foreign Enrolled general have high borrowing limits because they are private student loans (alternative student loans), and will cover the costs of medical, law, business, etc… school abroad.

*It should be noted that for US Citizens planning on studying abroad, many students make the choice to get as much financial assistance from Federal Stafford Student Loans, and then make up the difference with private student loans (alternative student loans). The reason for many college students taking this approach is because it is typically the most economical.
